Can I bring my dog?  

Unfortunately the cottage is not dog friendly. The host has an allergy and this just adds too much additional cleaning. Sorry puppers!

 

Are there hiking trails around? 

YES. There is are many wonderful trails around, including the Luskville Falls which is about a 30 minute drive away. The main dirt road in is a great walk too, just please stay off other cottage's properties. 

Can I drink the water at the cottage?

YES. The water comes from a filtered, sanitized well. It's so delicious!

 

Can I flush tampons or paper towel down the toilet? 

NO, the cottage is on a septic system and it is VERY sensitive and floods easily. Please only flush pees (let it mellow) and poos and our eco toilet paper.

 

Can I fish on the lake? 

Absolutely. The lake is stocked each year with bass and trout. If you need more information about the fish and the lake's depth, let me know!

 

Can I bring my motorized boat? 

Sadly, no. This is a private lake and I don't want the liability. There is a canoe, SUP boards, and kayaks for you to use instead. Live the slow cottage life. 

 

Is there internet? 

Yep!! We have Xplornet Satellite at the cottage. It's not great, but it works. Please don't plan anything too important that requires internet as sometimes it goes down without any notice. At this point you'll have to make a margarita and jump in the lake. 

 

Do I have to bring my own sheets?

No, we provide every linen you might possibly need.
